A couple more pics!

We just wanted to post some more pics for y'all who can't meet Maddie yet! We are finally home and are doing pretty good. She had a little jaudice so we had to use the lights last night which she did not enjoy, but hopefully worked it all out. Maddie is such a joy! Hope y'all enjoy seeing some more pictures!

Welcome Madeline Elisabeth Frantz
Our day started yesterday at 5 am when my water broke! After getting to the hospital and getting settled in the labor pains really started. Graciously God did not prolong her delivery too long and at 5:03 pm, brought our daughter Madeline into the world! She weighed 6 lbs. and 15 oz. was 19 1/2 inches long and as you can see has a head full of dark brown hair. She is precious and we are all doing great! We can't wait for everyone to get to meet our little joy!

Graduation Day!!!!
In his commencement speech President Al Mohler talked of the things a graduate accomplishes during their time of study at Southern. Such as a training in the biblical languages, a solid foundation in biblical doctrines, and apologetics. But as I sat and listened to him talk I couldn't help but to think of the things Mariah threw on top of all theses challenges, especially in this last year and a half. A wedding, balancing a new marriage, and a pregnancy. But like her classes she past with flying colors. I can't begin to explain what it means to me to have such a wonderful wife and I could not of asked for a better helper by my side. I know each person who knows Mariah is proud of her (especially those back home), and thanks for all the support. Hopefully our next post will be of little Madeline!!

Almost Ready!

Her room is finally ready. Her clothes are washed. We have diapers and wipes. Now we just need a baby! We are at the end of our 35th week, which means that there is only 4 weeks left until her due date. Next week though she will be considered full term and could come without being considered a preemie. Though we are anxiously awaiting her arrival, we do hope she waits a couple of more weeks. We both have one more week of school left and then finals. We also have 3 more classes left at the hospital that would be a great help in preparing us for what is to come. On Monday I start going to the doctor weekly, so we will keep you updated if anything new happens! We are so grateful for such an uncomplicated and healthy pregnancy. We are praying for continued health and a safe delivery! God has been so good and taught us much about trusting his faithfulness! We are excited to see what else he has to teach us through parenting!!!!!

One Wonderful Year!!!!

This week we celebrated our one year Anniversary!!!! It's so hard to believe that it has been a year because it has flown by. At the same time, so much has happened that it seems like we have been married for longer! They say the first year is your hardest... and if that's so then I think that we have many more joyous years to go! We are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with this marriage. It has never been more evident of his providence in bringing us together. I could not imagine a more perfect husband for me. Michael leads and loves me so sacrificially and at the same time the Lord uses him daily in the process of my sanctification. We also have so much fun together. Some highlights of this year were our travels. We took trips to Seaside, Miami, Cincinnati, Mississippi (several times of course), the Smokey Mts., Colorado, and Nashville.
